We are a husband Barry & wife Diana team who moved from Santa Monica where we owned Topanga Rug Company to the historical town of San Miquel de Allende, Mexico. All of our rugs are hand selected from the countries of origin. Each rug is curated to be of natural fibers such as wool, cotton & silk. We have been fortunate to have traveled to these rug producing countries such as Afghanistan, Turkey, Morocco and Syria to procure these rugs and have continued to add to our inventory over the years. 

Barry is a native New Yorker from Long Beach, Long Island and was one of the first Americans to travel to Afghanistan to the 1970’s to open a rug factory in Mazar-i-Sharif. He made custom 

Designs for major design companies in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. 

Diana grew up in Missoula, Montana and attended the University of Montana where she  majored in art and drama. After moving to Los Angeles where she had a successful career as an actress and model. She also taught yoga and meditation which remains a life long pursuit.
